2. The 6 Human Needs
Tony explains and elaborates on the six basic human needs that you need to fulfill. These human needs are :

Day 2: The Exploration
On the second day of your event, you will be asked to explore your psyche. You will also be guided and be made aware of the immense power of your unconscious mind.
On the day of the event, I understood that my behaviors, my deeds, and my values change what I will feel and how I will experience each moment of my life.
Tony will tell you about the cycle of meaning. This means that our needs are meant to be fulfilled at a deep level. If it is only fulfilled at the surface level, you will never feel happy, and you would never be satisfied.
Tony Robbins also told us about the Emotional Triad. The emotional triad refers to the three main factors which are responsible for changing and affecting your emotional state. These include:
- Physical Factors: Your emotions depend upon what you eat, what you do, how you sit, how you spend your day, etc.
- Focus: What emotions are you focusing on currently and what not.
- Language: How do you describe your emotion and express it to others around you.
At the end of this event, I knew everything there is to understand about mastering myself and my consciousness.
Day 3: The Discovery
This is day 3 of the six day-long events. Tony will tell you to analyze your approach to pleasure and pain and how will you deal with them.
Tony gave us knowledge about the four different categories of human consciousness. These areas following :
- Egocentric consciousness
- Ethnocentric consciousness
- World Centric consciousness
- Spirit Centric
In the Egocentric consciousness, your focus and care are all about own self. Every baby is born both selfish and narcissistic. But some people may grow older their age but still behave like a baby and fail to feel and understand what others feel. This leads to a lot of problems in both personal as well as business life.
In Ethnocentric consciousness, you become careful about the people around you like your family and friends. At this stage, you begin to care about those who possess the capability to give you pleasure or pain. A few people fail to get over the ethnocentric stage.
In the WorldCentric consciousness, you begin to care about anyone and everyone, from feeling the sense of pain when someone feels pain to feeling the sense of joy when someone feels joy. They cannot give you a sense of either pleasure or pain. All you feel is an emotional connection.
Lastly, in the Spirit-centric consciousness, you begin to care about everything around you from nature to animals and creatures. Only a very few people attain this consciousness level.
Robbins will eventually help you to overcome the limitations of pain and fear and will bring out pleasure to you.
Day 4: Relationships
Day 4 of the event focuses completely on your relationships. Tony will advise you on how you can set up boundaries for the energy you are putting into your relationships. You can easily develop your very own understanding of relationships by attending this event.
Day 5:
Transformation is one of the most important days of this event. Transformation day will impart you with the values and the particular set of rules which you need to follow to survive in this modern world. Without these values and rules, you cannot thrive satisfactorily.
Tony will help you develop a mission statement, and he will also help you create a good action plan for you to use in the future. This is the plan which you will work upon to create a better future for yourself.
Day 6: Integration
This one is the last step that you will take in your event to create a better future for yourself. This last step includes establishing a relationship between your mind and your body.

Nays:
- Tony Robbins is not the only speaker at these events, and if the opinion of reviewers is to be believed, they suggest mixed reviews when it comes to the caliber of some other speakers at the event.
- If you are someone who is looking for a comfortable sleep of 9 hours, it is important to keep in mind that these six days will be brutally hard and long.
- As an entrepreneur himself, Robbins holds a mastery in the skill of upselling. You will find him putting this skill of upselling to use by selling his supplements and merchandise and also encouraging you to invest after the days of the event are over. So if you are someone who is not much of a fan of hard-selling, then this event might not be great for you.

Well, in my opinion, it does work for some people, but if you are someone who is attending this program with the hope that it will alone bring about a massive change in your life, then the chances are that you will be very disappointed.
From my own experience in this event, you will come across a plethora of testimonials from people claiming that they had a wondrous experience and their life has changed a lot for the better after they attended Date with Destiny.
It is astounding to see people transforming right before you, but the sad part is these people are a handful. Despite all of this for me, this program could have delivered more though it is promising. I liked the vibe around the room where I saw so many people just like me coming here to watch Tony Robbins and listening to what he is doing.
I even got the chance to meet Tony, and I shared a high-five with him. It was something I liked very much as I have been following Tony for a long time now. Before the event started, as per the Date with Destiny’s website and Tony, they were going to provide us with some answers and/or techniques to excel in life.
Some of these were :
Understanding your purpose
You need to know what you want for yourself.
Find more fulfillment
The ability to be satisfied with everything.
Find more happiness
Finding that inner happiness that you are missing out on.
And many other such questions. However, I don’t feel like I got the answer to all of these questions that were meant to be answered. I still felt that the session wasn’t as informative as advertised.
I discussed this feeling of mine with others, and they had the same thoughts. However, the answers and knowledge gained through the event were still nice and helpful to me.
Another problem which I felt wasn’t a fault Tony. For example, the day where they discussed relationships was a very good one, and I saw that it was already acting up for some people there.
However, I heavily felt the need of having my partner with me to experience the thing completely. But once again, this was something that Tony was not responsible for.
In the end, I felt that the event was good and informative but not as good as they publicized it and how it is shown in his publicity videos. For me, if you have time and money to spare, this course is worthy enough to take. It is good and informative, just not as good as they tell you.
