🚀PluralSight Review: Quick Expert Summary

As someone who is always looking to improve my skills and learn new things, I was intrigued when I came across Pluralsight. Pluralsight is an online learning platform that offers courses in a wide range of topics, from software development to creative arts. With over 6,000 courses available, there’s sure to be something for everyone.

I decided to sign up for a Pluralsight subscription to see if it would be worth the money. In this post, I’ll be sharing my thoughts on the platform and whether or not I think it’s worth the price tag.

PluralSight offers a lot of features that make it a great learning platform. First of all, the courses are all high-quality and taught by expert instructors. There’s a wide range of topics available, so you’re sure to find something that interests you. And, perhaps most importantly, the courses are engaging and interactive. I never felt bored or like I was wasting my time while watching a course.

Additionally, I really appreciate that Pluralsight allows you to set goals and track your progress. This feature is great for keeping yourself accountable and motivated to keep learning.

The platform also gives you recommendations for other courses based on your interests and goals, which is helpful if you’re not sure what you want to learn next.

Finally, I think the price of PluralSight is very fair considering all of the features and benefits that come with a subscription. $29/month is definitely cheaper than most in-person classes or workshops, and you get access to thousands of courses with a PluralSight subscription.

PluralSight Review: Is Pluralsight Any Good or Worth It?

Why should you use Pluralsight when you can get thousands of free courses and training on the internet? Pluralsight’s courses, on the other hand, are of very high quality.

They provide high-quality education in a wide range of fields, including software development, architecture and construction, information technology operations, manufacturing and design, business, creativity, data and information, and cyber security.

Not only is the content good quality and thorough (which is sometimes lacking in free sites), but the service is also excellent. Pluralsight is now offering some of the top online training in the technical training eLearning market.

Pluralsight is an excellent alternative for self-paced learning if you want to increase your present skill set or start a new profession.

You will also receive a certificate of completion for the courses you finish, which will be very valuable if you are looking for an IT job; head hunters on LinkedIn will pay more attention to you if you have these qualifications.

Pluralsight is not just available on PC, but you can also study on the go with the Pluralsight app. Pluralsight Content, According to Pluralsight, they only publish three out of every 1,000 content requests they receive because they only publish material that satisfies their high-quality criteria.

Pluralsight courses are made in-house, which means they are high-quality videos with excellent audio. All teachers are subject-matter experts, so you’ll be learning from individuals who know what they’re doing.

What About The Course Quality? 🤔

While a course provider might have a massive library of courses, this doesn’t always translate well into quality. So, how does PluralSight fare?

In short, PluralSight receives an A- for course quality. Having said that, I’ve only taken a few courses, so I can’t speak for all of them.

I gave PluralSight an A- because I found the quality inconsistent across the courses I had taken.

While each course was excellent, the layouts of the slides and the manner in which it was delivered appeared to be quite inconsistent. While this is insignificant in the grand scheme of things, I thought it was worth noting.

The Udemy vs Pluralsight Comparison

The model used by Udemy and Pluralsight is the most significant distinction between the two companies.

Udemy is a marketplace where you may purchase a single course that provides you with lifetime access to that course, allowing you to come back and study anything you want whenever you want.

You will also have access to articles, quizzes, and practice questions, as well as any downloaded materials that are made available with the course.

Pluralsight, on the other hand, operates on a subscription-based approach. In order to gain access to their platform, you must pay a monthly charge. This price grants you access to more than 5000+ courses on the latest and most exciting technology.

You are not required to purchase any courses; instead, you can simply log onto Pluralsight and learn whatever you choose. When you don’t have to spend time searching through a large number of online courses, this might be quite convenient for you.

For more information check our in-depth comparison on Udemy vs Pluralsight.

Who Should Invest In Pluralsight?

Learning new technical skills has never been easier than it is with Pluralsight. If you have a technological background or are currently working in a technical field, you may select this option.

Students who are enrolled in technical programs can also benefit from using it. Hands-on experience in the form of actual projects and learning guides are both provided by Pluralsight.

A very affordable monthly subscription will get you access to a variety of classes that you can take. Alternately, you might begin by using its free trial to investigate it further.

Who Should Invest In Lynda or LinkedIn Learning?

If you want to improve your business abilities, as well as your photography, design, and web development, Lynda or LinkedIn Learning are excellent resources.

It is helpful for those who work in business, people who are into hobbies, and people who work in technology.

You are able to combine several types of classes to acquire a more well-rounded education; for example, you can get training in both design and technology on the same platform.

A very affordable monthly subscription will get you access to a variety of classes that you can take. Alternately, you might begin by using its free trial to investigate it further.

Pluralsight Review: Features

The content quality of PluralSight is rich in nature as they have great experience content-wise as well as quality.

They publish only 3% of content over every 1,000 proposals of content because for them publishing is not the goal but providing content in high quality is the main goal for their online platform courses which they offer to the users.

They meet high standards in quality where they provide these courses and are subject matter experts with great experience over the years where they offer the best learning materials to the users. They know what they are doing.

High Level of Information Quality

PluralSight provides a high level of information quality because the organization observes the strategic aspect where the data is collected and observed.

A formulation of a strategic plan is established in order to proceed with the outcome.

The technology has developed so vastly that this makes it easy to collect information and the data which is collected from the users is high quality.

You can start by collecting data through its resources, culture, technology, and business. This will help develop a great quality platform.

Can Pluralsight Help Me With My Career Or It’s Just A Scam?

When you complete a course with Pluralsight, you will not obtain an officially certified certificate. They will focus on acquiring abilities that you are missing for certain Job Roles. The Position IQ tool is great for assessing your technical skills in a certain role.

Building your expertise for a certain profession is one of the most beneficial methods to enhance your career and set yourself apart from the competition.

I’ve evaluated a number of different learning systems and have yet to come across a feature exactly like the Role IQ, which has to offer Pluralsight an advantage in my opinion.

Pluralsight is great for someone considering or already working in the IT field who wants to learn specialized skills for a career. Its Premium subscription provides you with unrestricted access to industry-leading practice exams as well as the ability to work on projects in realistic circumstances.

So, even if you will not obtain an approved credential, you will be able to address knowledge gaps, making you a useful team player and effective in your professional position.

How Good Is Pluralsight? 7 Reasons Why You Should Try It

1- The content’s quality

Pluralsight differentiates out from other platforms because of the high quality of its material. In this regard, we are considering the care with which the classes are produced. Both the visuals and the audio are as clear as possible.

2- Excellent information quality

Another important element is that Pluralsight takes great care to guarantee that the knowledge it provides is of high quality. One of the platform’s distinguishing features is that all of its courses are double-checked for technical accuracy before being released. Pluralsight programs also include content from some of the most well-known figures in the technology sector.

3- Appropriate for novices

Pluralsight courses are not for the faint of heart, yet even beginners can take any class they desire. It takes a lot of devotion and hard work, but it pays off in the end. Pluralsight makes it possible for students to withstand a high learning curve and absorb a significant quantity of information by making their classes more challenging.

4- Appropriate for experts

If you are not a beginning, you will never be bored. Pluralsight offers a 5-minute test to determine your current level of expertise. Learners can use this technique to find a learning route that is tailored to their current abilities.

5- This is an excellent location for IT/tech experts.

This e-learning platform is ideal for IT/tech professionals who want to master new skills. PluralSight will satisfy your needs if you’re seeking in-depth content and regularly updated courses on Python, CSS, or Oracle.

6- A platform with a fantastic user interface and experience.

Every course may be split down into manageable sections, and students can even download videos to watch on their own time. Another fantastic feature is the interactive modules, which allow users to follow along with the instructor in real-time while learning to code, for example. As a result, both the platform and the user experience are excellent.

How much does Pluralsight cost per month?

PluralSight has a subscription model where you can get access to all the courses once when you subscribe or sign-up on the website.

It is user-friendly and super easy to use. It also has a mobile app which makes it all the more interesting to use.

Unfortunately, it does not offer a subscription to a single course. Once when you choose a pricing plan it offers various options to select from different courses provided by them.

The pricing of the subscription model is as follows:

  • It offers a free trial.
  • It offers a Personal plan which costs $29 per month.
  • It offers a Professional plan which costs $499 per month.
  • It offers an Enterprise plan which costs $699 per month.

What Is PluralSight Best for?

Basically, PluralSight is best for everyone if you ask me. Although this is my personal opinion, I feel PluralSight is known for its online development and IT training platforms.

It is good for beginners who are ready to join an online course to learn to code or explore other technical aspects then PluralSight is the right place for you.

PluralSight is also good for experts who have already known and learned about software development and IT Ops which includes basic technical topics on web development, python, C#, IT Certification and network, security, and database.

It is excellent for IT Professionals as the experts who provide this course are subject matter experts and professionals who offer assessment, learning paths, and courses offered by authors and industry experts in the subject like machine learning, security data, and so on.

Why do I prefer Pluralsight? Most training platforms try to make things simple and do not go into great detail.

They frequently skip over important and slightly difficult concepts that will help you better understand the topic. Furthermore, the company keeps 99 percent of its content up to date with the most recent standards and archives older courses.

Other platforms, such as Udemy, Lynda, and Treehouse, do not prioritize updating their content and instead try to sell you courses.

Pluralsight subscribers have access to the entire catalog of courses at Digital-Tutors, a site geared solely toward design software and creative professionals.

Pluralsight is recommended for anyone, regardless of skill level, who wants to learn technical skills. There is a wealth of information available for beginners, intermediate learners, and those with advanced skills/experience.

However, many Pluralsight subscribers report that the content is geared more toward those who already have some level of professional tech experience.

The Premium membership is also a good option for anyone who needs guided prep materials and practice exams to obtain a professional certification (e.g., CompTIA, ITIL®, PMP®).

If you already have a CompTIA, PMI, or ISACA certification, Pluralsight is an authorized continuing education provider, so you can take courses and earn CEUs.

What Past Students Think

“There is not much I cannot find on Pluralsight. It has been my resource for gaining the skills I need to maintain relevance. All the courses I have taken have been relevant, informative, and intuitive which promotes a great learning experience. Would highly recommend this service to anyone that is a self-motivated, eager learner, that wants or needs to gain new skills to keep moving forward in their career.” – Robert Fitzgerald

“Pluralsight is the ‘Netflix’ of streaming technology videos. The quality of its offering, leaves the competition in the dust. What I love most is the skills IQ test. It gives me good feedback on what I already know and what I should focus on. The instructors know their stuff and are renowned in their disciplines. My cons for Pluralsight is their bias towards Microsoft technologies and the speeding up of sections of videos that explains the code. I find myself rewinding several times to grasp what is being taught.” – Faithman Nartey

“If I had to give my review of Pluralsight in one word, I would say…Awesome! There are so many options of courses available to help get that specific certification you are looking for. Depending on the plan that is chosen, there are excellent practice exams available that definitely help to ace that exam! If I was asked if I plan on renewing my subscription, I would say absolutely!” – Cris C.

“I used to have no idea where to start learning a new technology. Hopefully Google or YouTube would pop up something useful, but it would take hours to vet and usually the results didn’t get me past beginner level. PluralSight does all that for me so I can just sit down and learn whatever I need to in as much depth as I want. As a software engineer, PluralSight has helped me quickly jump between niches.” – Michael Buchoff

There’s always going to be this focus on continuous improvement.

They also bring a passion to tell that technology story and along the way we’ve got to learn a whole new set of skills that they might now have brought with them like instructional design and sometimes on along the world of audio recording.

Pluralsight Review: Pluralsight certificates

As previously said, Pluralsight has a stellar reputation, with several well-known firms as clients that use the platform to teach their personnel.

Pluralsight, on the other hand, is not a recognized educational institution. This implies that while most colleges will not recognize their certifications as college credit, potential employers may respect your work in completing Pluralsight’s courses.

Companies hunt for experts and potential candidates who are technically competent and able to fulfill the many demands of everyday work in the employment market. Traditional degrees may not usually provide this assurance.

MOOC credentials, such as Pluralsight, are increasingly being utilized as proof of these abilities in the hiring process. Employers will get a clear idea of the applicant’s talents and dedication as a result of this.

Despite the fact that Pluralsight is not an accredited educational school, they are permitted to assist you in preparing for specific continuing education programs.

1. CompTIA: For professionals interested in troubleshooting and problem solutions in a wide range of areas, including networking and operating systems, mobile devices, and security. Pluralsight has selected courses that can be used to earn CEUs (continuing education credits).

2. PMI: The Project Management Institute is responsible for administering the PMP exam, which is a globally recognized professional qualification for project managers. Pluralsight provides content that may be used to earn PDUs (Personal Development Units).

What Is the Purpose of PluralSight?

While I wish I could state that PluralSight is suitable for everyone, it is not. PluralSight, unlike Skillshare, Udemy, and LinkedIn Learning, does not cover a large range of topics.

PluralSight, on the other hand, concentrates on the IT/tech specialty, which has advantages and disadvantages. Skillshare is, therefore, more suited for students who wish to study a wide range of creative abilities such as writing, photography, crafts, and even cuisine.

What about users who are intermediate/advanced?

Another amazing advantage of PluralSight is that they provide a 5-minute test evaluation to determine your level of proficiency. Students will then be given a one-of-a-kind learning route that is tailored to their current abilities and comprehension of a topic.

What Kinds of Courses Does PluralSight Provide?

The second item I looked at for my PluralSight review was the many sorts of courses the company provides. I was curious to see if PluralSight lived up to its promise of being the #1 destination for online IT-related courses.

So, after some investigation, I can confidently state that they are the IT champions! The following are only a few of the 6,500+ courses available. So, if you’re a bit of a nerd like myself, there’s much to fawn over!

Content Quality

If you’re searching for an online learning platform, chances are that excellent material is at the top of your list of requirements.

That’s exactly as it should be! If you’re going to invest your time and money in courses, it’s only reasonable that you’d want them to be the company’s major priority – quality should be what propels a learning platform forward.

If you search online, you’ll see that the majority of Pluralsight reviews are more than positive. It appears that the corporation not only speaks the talk but also walks the walk.

Students believe the courses are highly instructive, fascinating, and meet the highest quality standards. It’s really unusual to find a complaint, and even when it does, it’s usually about the costs rather than the material itself.

PluralSight Customer Support

While I haven’t had any experience with PluralSight customer service, based on what I’ve read from other Reddit users, they appear to be fine. It’s not the best, it’s not the worst, but it’s just OK.

Having said that, using PluralSight is similar to using Netflix in that it’s nearly impossible to get things wrong because the platform is so user-friendly.

If students are unable to access their certificates or have billing issues, PluralSight offers a toll-free number, chat support, and ticket support.

Pluralsight free trial

There is a free trial available for Pluralsight Skills. This feature is accessible for both the Standard and Premium subscriptions and lasts for a total of ten days.

You will get access to everything that you have access to with the standard membership, which means that you will truly have the opportunity to choose whether or not Pluralsight is the correct choice for you.

If you enter your credit card information now, you will be able to make a smooth transition to a paid subscription at the conclusion of your free trial, if that is what you decide you want to do.

There is also a trial for teams available with the Professional subscription, which you can take advantage of if you decide to go with that option for your company. This lasts for a total of 14 days.

In a similar vein, the Enterprise purchasing option comes with a 14-day trial pilot period.

How would you describe Pluralsight?

Individual industry professionals serve as instructors for each Pluralsight course. There is no such thing as a standard lesson because every single instructor has their own set of objectives and experiences.

This is especially true when considering the fact that there are 7000 courses covering a wide variety of topics. So you can anticipate every class to be unique.

Having said that, there are some components that are shared by all Pluralsight courses, which ensures that everything stays the same:

  • A table of contents that details the duration of each lesson.
  • Modules comprised of shorter lectures lasting 3-5 minutes each, strung together to form longer ones lasting 30-40 minutes.
    Largely audio taught
  • Visuals that are instructive and text that is easily digestible on screen
  • A video that serves as both an introduction and a summary for each module.

PluralSight For Enterprises & Businesses

PluralSight also provides solutions for managers to upskill and scale up their staff training for those running a small business or even a large enterprise.

PluralSight also provides its unique Skill IQ and Role IQ tests, which assess team members’ skill levels and areas for improvement.

Following that, each team member will be assigned a personalized learning path that is intended to be more time-efficient and effective.

While this is a more customized solution, PluralSights services are used by many Fortune 500 companies, including Adobe, Fujitsu, and NASDAQ.

pluralsight review - plans

Pros and Cons

  • It is a moderate programmer platform and suggests it is more like an IT system administrator kind of training platform.
  • You can browse and select your specific type of goal if you want to be a data professional or if you want to go into cloud computer computing.
  • You can also choose a specific path and there are roles where you want to go and measure your current skills against the PluralSight role of testing engine.
  • There are also new releases where you can pick what’s most popular on this particular platform.
  • You can create a path or choose from one of the default paths or you can choose a channel.
  • You can choose content and make it into a channel where you can choose in the order and learn the courses or select them to train at your own pace.
  • Aside from that, you can create bookmarks. You can select a course and then you can just run it and then you can create bookmarks.

Pluralsight Review

  • There is no lifetime access.
  • Once your subscription is over or if you stop paying then you’ll not get access to sign-up for the online courses.
  • As the pricing plans are in subscription prices you cannot just buy one course.
  • Sadly, there are no refunds present or available in this course.
  • It is pretty expensive for everyone to afford.
  • Not many can be benefited from this program.
  • Free-Trial access is only limited and not many can benefit from it.
  • These courses need updating especially web development. Having a web development course that’s six years old is not good.
  • I also think they need to pay more attention to detail for better organization, I feel like a lot of material and a lot of the features were hastily thrown together.
  • Basic Filtering options would be a huge upgrade and the instructor quality varies.
  • A lot of instructors are very obviously reading from a slide while some instructors do sound pretty robotic.

PluralSight Alternatives

1. Udemy

Udemy has great content for online course platforms which offers great content to the users. Sadly it is not a subscription-based course which means you’ll have to pay for each course individually which can be a major con for the users.

When compared to PluralSight it does not offer a rich experience to the viewers.

2. TreeHouse

It’s the same as Udemy. The courses are offered by experts who provide great content on the platform.

The quality of the content which is produced by TreeHouse is incredible. It costs the same as Udemy but there are not many course options for the users which can become difficult in choosing a course of their preference.

Sadly, a course that is only provided by them and not the user’s choice can be difficult for users to learn and follow up in that particular course.

3. LinkedIn Learning

LinkedIn Learning

LinkedIn Learning is one of the famous online course platforms. It’s similar to PluralSight as they have great quality content that is rich in experience and the pricing plan of this is also the same as PluralSight.

The courses offered by LinkedIn Learning are around 16,000 courses whereas PluralSight has around 6,000 courses. They also provide several options in choosing the courses for the users as well.

4. Coursera

The content which is offered by Coursera is given by great universities like Yale and Stanford.

Some excellent company partners like Google and IBM are interested in this platform. The content is definitely rich in nature as the professors are from great universities present in the world.

The content is high in quality with a great experience. It’s a bit more expensive than PluralSight. It costs around $39 to $49 per month.

PluralSight vs TreeHouse

treehouse review

PluralSight has a template format they’re gonna talk about who the person is, what you’re gonna learn and it’s nice but the production value is definitely different.

The best introductions are from TreeHouse and PluralSight. It’s gonna be kept consistent. With PluralSight I do like the way they go ahead and set that search out but with TreeHouse it’s a lot harder.

It doesn’t give you tons of information to filter when you search for a result. It’s hard to filter the newest oldest here and it just doesn’t stand out and it’s not as easy and it doesn’t give a thumbnail or anything like that.

TreeHouse is also about web development but it’s done at a subscription base as well. It’s 24 a month and they offer usually beginner to intermediate courses in programming. It’s very interesting to see the differences here.

Pluralsight Review

But maybe if you’re starting out then I’d suggest TreeHouse. You should look at the ratings here.

That’s one thing that TreeHouse does not have our ratings from students and they also really set their instructor.

TreeHouse provides you a video and what you can learn and here’s a challenge but they do have a form that you can I ahead and look at and they do actually have the instructor as well. It’s good for intermediate and beginners. They have foundational skills.

PluralSight is more intermediate to advanced. They’re gonna have skills in a lot more classes in those topics and they have some in the beginner level. The production quality is good and they both have formats but PluralSight is a better option.

PluralSight vs Udemy

Pluralsight vs udemy review

Udemy is an open marketplace where anyone can go there and post courses not just on web development but web development programming has taken the online learning industry by storm.

They have a whole bunch of courses that you can look at and usually anything that you want to learn is gonna be on there within reason but for the most part like Node JS, MongoDB, PHP, they’re all present and it’s done per course.

So, you pay for the course, and keep it forever. That can really be good if you’re gonna come back to that for instance.

PluralSight website is more geared towards professionals and the way that you pay for this is $29 per month or $299 annually if you pay upfront. So you save 30 bucks or so or 60 bucks.

But it’s geared towards software, however, they have courses on design and UI, and UX as well.

Pluralsight Review

In Udemy they provide you the details with the course, a brief introduction, lecture hours, beginner level, the ratings, how many people, how many readings are well thought out and it’s because you’re buying it per course so you have to make it a more invested decision.

Already with PluralSight, here they give you a discussion area so you can learn about the course before you take it or during it.

It’s a subscription-based model and they give you a bride description on the pricing plans as well. Overall it’s better to try both and choose which one is best for you.

Engineering @ Pluralsight Refactor 2021: How it Works?

Engineering @ Pluralsight is a paper that explains how they perform engineering and how they operate at Pluralsight.

It develops best practices that allow us to provide the maximum value to customers, construct and sustain healthy processes, and, perhaps most importantly, it shapes a system in which Pluralsight engineers and employees feel pleased and happy at work.

Pluralsight has undergone numerous revisions since its initial release in 2018. they just took the time to consider how our processes are benefiting us and where they may make significant changes.

They’re thrilled to share an update — or, to put it another way, a rework — to Engineering @ Pluralsight with the rest of the world.

Why refactor now?

Engineering requires a lot of change. They must learn from our mistakes as much as our triumphs. They must adapt to shifting economic and commercial situations.

“Responding to change over following a plan.” -Agile Manifesto

Since it was written in 2018 by a group of Engineering @ Pluralsight, Their Engineering @ Pluralsight document has proven to be quite useful.

Pluralsight has gone through a lot of changes in the last three years. There have been several acquisitions, They’ve evolved into a multi-product firm, They’ve undergone two reorganizations, They’ve

hired numerous individuals with varied backgrounds, and do I need to mention 2020? We are still Pluralsight Engineering when we emerge from these events, but They have evolved.

What has changed

While I won’t provide a side-by-side comparison of all the changes to Engineering @ Pluralsight, I will highlight a few major improvements.

  • While widening stated practices, They refocused on principles. For instance, in addition to supporting pair and mob programming, They now include list PR processes as a supported method of team collaboration. It’s worth noting that They continue to optimize for flow efficiency.
  • “They minimize needless release trains,” They said, and “They prioritize resolving production failures over all other work.”
  • They saw that statements in the preceding text were understood differently depending on who was reading it, therefore they worked hard to make statements more explicit to eliminate ambiguity. For example, some people misinterpreted They don’t construct huge designs upfront” to mean
  • They don’t have any planning conversations at all,” so they added.
  • They don’t perform comprehensive planning for long-term work.” They put a stronger emphasis on the things they ship. “With our leaders, they co-create and measure outcomes,” and “They develop high-quality products that they are proud of.”

What hasn’t changed

  • While some things have changed, others have remained the same.
  • They are still enthusiastic about what They do.
  • They’re still committed to providing a great product and assisting Pluralsight in its growth.
  • They’re still putting a premium on team health. They have committed students that strive to improve one another via our work and conversations.
  • Their work is still ours. Every day, They collaborate and cross-functionally. They put our code to the test. Every day, They ship to production. They keep a close eye on Their systems and are accountable for their scalability and performance.
  • Is Pluralsight worth the money?

Pluralsight is a good education program. It is high quality and it only costs $20 per month. But you should ask yourself if Pluralsight will be the best education for you or if another program would be better.

Is Pluralsight worth it in 2021?

Many PluralSight courses are hard to complete because they go from beginner to intermediate levels. If you can handle a steep learning curve and enjoy a bit of a challenge, then PluralSight is a good place to start!

For people who are interested in learning for fun, there are a lot of websites available. Pluralsight is one of the best places to learn online. They can make and upload their courses.

Are Pluralsight courses outdated?

I have noticed that some old and outdated courses are still on Pluralsight. These classes were created in 2011 or 2012, and they are not useful now. You should stay away from these courses because it is a waste of time to learn skills that are no longer needed.

Why is Pluralsight bad?

One thing which might bother you about Pluralsight is that some of the courses are outdated. That means you may not like them. But that’s okay because there are other programs to take your skills to the next level. There are over 5000 courses available so no need to worry.

Does Pluralsight have exercises?

Exercise files are material that the author of the course uses. You can use them with their course. To download exercise files, go to a tab called Exercise Files and choose which course you want to work on.

What happened to Pluralsight?

Pluralsight, Inc. became the company Pluralsight, Inc. with an acquisition completed. This made it so that Pluralsight’s stock ceased trading and is no longer listed on any public market.

What is Pluralsight IQ?

The Pluralsight IQ is a number from 0 to 300. This is based on what grade you are in that skill area. Pluralsight’s exclusive adaptive skill measurements work by comparing your level with other professionals who also use the technology.

Is Pluralsight good for data science?

This course teaches you all about charts and dashboards that are more valuable than others. This course is one of the best PluralSight courses for Data Science because it teaches how to build them using tools you already know and love: Microsoft Excel.

Advantages: Pluralsight is an easy-to-use web-based program that is simple enough for anyone to use and lets you practice what you have learned on your own computer, regardless of whether or not there are any other people around to see.

Benefits: You can test out your learning on your own time and save time and money by avoiding having to hire a professional developer or programmer who would cost you far more than what you’re paying now.

The concept of the project workflow is really good in PluralSight. I really like that whatever project you take you’re working with Git fundamentals so you’re getting the organization going.

It’s something that you’re going to use in the real world and it was really neat seeing these projects being run against these tests and having that nearly immediate feedback.

90 thoughts on “PluralSight Review 2022– Real Customer Testimonials, Details, Pricing, & Features”

  1. I wake up early every day and watch courses on Pluralsight for an hour. I’ve been doing this for several years. The courses are first class for the subjects that interest me (IT, cloud, software, DevOps). I also regularly take Pluralsight IQ tests in 30 different areas to review my skills and help me find areas where I need to spend more time. The number of courses available on Pluralsight is overwhelming. You could spend your whole life not seeing everyone.

  2. Hey Jamey,

The software offers a simple tool to recognize the learning paths of our employees and to adapt them to the level of experience of the employees. It’s well organized, easy to navigate, and gives employees access to continuous learning at their own pace. It also gives them access to other areas of development outside of their current roles. We welcome reviews that give us an opportunity to evaluate the progress and efforts made in using the product. We also appreciate the tools available to identify skill levels. We appreciate the constant addition of new content and the visibility of when the courses were created.

  3. Skill IQ to show you where you stand in a variety of different skills. It allows you to train yourself at the level of your knowledge and not start from scratch. Availability of courses. Time recording and certification planning.

  4. Hey Jamey,

I like the research and the detailed descriptions. Whether you’re curious or in need of serious information, I can find the title that will help me achieve this.

  5. The ability to track my progress and download lessons to my iPad when I’m on the go is a great feature. Encoder reviews are a good idea.

  6. Hello Jamey,

Excellent courses and very up to date with the latest changes in the industry with great faculties.

  7. I love that you can take the pre-assessment tests to find out what you don’t know and that they offer suggestions on what to look / study to fill in those gaps.

  8. Well written and done my friend.
I started writing in the past few weeks and realized that lot of bloggers simply rehash oldd ideas but add very little of worth.
It’s great to see an enlightening write-up off some genuine value to your followers and myself.

It’s going on tthe list of factors I need to emulate being a new blogger.
Reader engagement and maaterial value are king.

Many terdrific suggestions; you have most
certainly managed to get on my liswt of sites to watch!

    Carry on the terrific work!

  9. I love the way Pluralsight has broken apart learning into smaller, more manageable chunks. It’s like they figured out my brain and made something specifically for it (and guess what? Now I work there). My favorite parts of their offerings are that you can learn how to build things like Angular or Swift through online courses – even if you don’t know anything about those languages yet – and the idea of “playlists.” I always find myself wishing we had a recorded version of our weekly standup meetings at work instead, and here’s the best part: content creators record them as video playlists! You can also sign up for webinars on any topic, from marketing automation to customer experience analytics. Thanks for providing PluralSight Review

  10. “I’m a freelance web designer and I found your courses so helpful. Pluralsight does such an excellent job of catering to beginners as well as those folks like me with over 10 years’ experience working in exchange, design and programming.” create a monthly plan that will give them access to all of your courses for $25/month

  11. Welcome to the world of Pluralsight! The latest creation in the deluge of content producers. I’m not really sure when it all started, but I’ve watched my productivity decline massively since the introduction to this new service. This hundred dollar a month investment has been really worth it for me even though sometimes I have to listen more than once and then ask myself if that was said correctly. You may be asking yourself what is pluralsight? Well like most successful companies they don’t tell you exactly what their company does, which is understandable because we’re too lazy and YouTube is everywhere anyways (and basic) anyways so yeah looks like you didn’t make it big after all buddy. But here’s what we do

  12. With over 10,000 hours of video courses to choose from, you can easily find an expert that matches your needs. Whether it be for IT or creative professionals, pluralsight will have someone who is just perfect for what you’re looking to learn. They also cover topics in tech and design which are great if your interested in one of the two subjects!

  13. The beauty of Pluralsight is its extensive collection of 5,000 courses to choose from. Let’s put it this way: you have the capability to learn something new everyday for two years without repeating a lesson or even messing up your schedule. You can even enroll in monthly subscriptions for just $25/month! The high-quality video lectures are easy to follow, and they’re guaranteed never to repeat themselves if you don’t want them to. This award winning company has been producing content since 2004 with 10 million members around the world who are progressing their careers by being knowledgeable in complex subjects like artificial intelligence (AI), Google cloud computing (GCI), cybersecurity (CYBERSEC).

  14. I was hesitant about buying this at first because I didn’t think it would be worth the price, but after trying it out for a while, I’ve really seen that you get what you pay for. The author’s way of explaining things is so clear and easy to understand that even someone like me who has never set foot in a classroom can learn how to code from scratch with no problem. And believe me, I was an idiot when it came to computer science: all I knew was HTML and CSS and how to use Microsoft Office programs before Pluralsight. But now not only do I work as technical writer so know PHP, JavaScript TypeScript etc., but my whole career has been opened up by knowing tools like Photoshop and Illustrator .Thanks for providing PluralSight Review

  15. If you’re looking for a place to grow your career in technology, then I highly recommend Pluralsight. The courses are top quality and the platform is amazing. They have helped me learn SO much in less than 18 months! A special thank you goes out to all of my professors, who make my time on here worth it.

  16. Let me start off by saying I’m not very tech-savvy, so when I came to this platform, it took me a while to figure out where everything was. But once I found the courses and videos that suited my needs, many of which were hosted by professionals in their fields (guys like Gabe Newell) I felt much more at ease! Not only do they have courses on different aspects of computer programming software but they also offer events for developers all over the world with real working programmers exchanging knowledge in person workshops – what an opportunity. The best part is, these are online courses you can watch anytime anywhere without having to register or maintain any sort of schedule other than your own because if the convenience.

  17. With the growing demand of software developers in Silicon Valley, it is essential to have some type of computer science education. Pluralsight offers more than just access to YouTube videos that are on the brink of being outdated by technology, but they offer professional courses that can help you grow your skillset while building a full portfolio for employers. One thing I appreciated about Pluralsight has been their 30 day trial period where you can get both their best-selling products and try them out before deciding anything. It’s also important for me to mention how convenient accessing lectures through Pluralights website is with its variety of player sizes and offline viewing available on most lectures! Thanks for providing PluralSight Review

  18. Never have I been so satisfied with an online learning tool, or it might be more appropriate to say school. Pluralsight is not only the best technical education source on the market but also without comparison one of the most reasonably priced. Thankfully, my years in programming are no longer being lost because their courses are fantastic! You may have seen this company on Shark Tank or TechCrunch recently – don’t let that dissuade you from giving them your business! They’re dedicated to teaching startups and SMEs all about IT related topics for a reasonable monthly fee. Courses include everything from HTML5 certification to cybersecurity certifications. And if you’re not sure what course would benefit your team then they even offer personalized recommendations based off

  19. I have access to all these courses through my company, but I felt like I was always too busy for them. That all changed when I found Pluralsight! It doesn’t take up any of your time since you study the material at your own pace and on your own schedule. You can also watch it while you’re driving or cooking dinner if that’s what works best for you. Studying really does seem like a lot more fun with all their videos; it reminds me of watching TV except actually useful. Thanks for providing pluralsight review

  20. I use Pluralsight for online courses to learn how to script, program, and design. I like this website because it’s easy and they always have new content. Definitely would recommend.

Personally I find it more than worth what they charge for such high quality content curated by some qualified professionals who know their stuff. It’s honestly like Netflix but for IT workers – if only it could

  24. After using Pluralsight for about a year, I have to say I’m really enjoying the quality of this product. The variety is so great that if you are looking for something specific it’s very easy to find- whether it be video length or type. All the videos are high quality too so they’re not choppy and take forever to load. The pricing structure also makes me happy because now my team doesn’t have to pay full price for 20+ licenses anymore but instead we only need 1 universal yearly subscription per company!

  25. I used Pluralsight for my water safety coaching certification. If I had to do it all over again, I simply would not have done it on my own. This training was easy to understand and the guidance they gave me is what really helped. Thanks for providing pluralsight review
